2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), with the Sidney Myer Fund and Federal Government as founding members. The Sidney Myer Fund donated $1 million as part of the 1999 Centenary Grants Program and the Federal Government pledged a $10.7 million grant with a further $3.8 million offered as an incentive to raise further capital. In addition, ANZ Trustees and The Pratt Foundation each donated $1 million.
FRRR is a not-for-profit organisation that harnesses the power of collective investment between government, business and philanthropy to improve the lives of those living in rural, regional and remote Australia. Since 2000, FRRR has distributed nearly $100 million to more than 10,000 projects across rural, regional and remote Australian communities.
