Jordan O’Reilly

Jordan O’Reilly is developing a revolutionary online platform that will enable people with disabilities to find and engage their own support workers in the community. The new platform, called HireUp, provides an online community where individuals can search and connect with great support workers in their area, as well as the tools needed to facilitate the working relationship.

Jay Boolkin

Jay Boolkin wants to motivate people to do the things they most want to do with their lives, while creating a more engaging, personal and empowering way to donate to charities that make a better world. While living in Cambodia as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, Jay founded Promise or Pay, a social motivation platform that helps you stick to your goals by donating money to charity if you don’t follow through, and encouraging others to donate if you succeed. Through the Fellowship Jay aims to use the nexus of mobile technology, online payments and behavioural science to change the way people go about achieving their goals and the way charities go about fundraising.

Sophie Weldon

Stories Are Everything is a social enterprise that utilises the power of storytelling to improve social health and community connectivity. Sophie will be commercialising her mobile Story Pod for communities to record and archive their stories as well as develop the Save Our Stories (SOS) schools program which will facilitate intergenerational connections and reduce social isolation through face to face storytelling.
