Northern Australia Program
The Northern Australia Program was established in 2003 with the aim of protecting the natural and cultural heritage values of northern Australia.
Northern Australia occupies approximately 1.9 million square kilometres, and is a unique natural and social setting.
The Australian Conservation Foundation works with policy setters, land holders, community members and the general public to ensure strong social and environmental outcomes in the north. The organisation focuses on appropriate economic models to support sustainable development, and works with partner organisations to achieve its objectives.
